[FFML] Continue dead or abandon fics by other authors.

It is a shame as I quite enjoyed the story.

I suppose the slight hope is that someone is still paying for the domain and hosting. Who knows... maybe sometime in the next 10 years he might pop back up with all of it complete. 

As for continuing someone else's work I'd find it pretty tough without at least some plan on where they were going with it.

A few minutes ago, Sebastien Renon asked for information about a dead fic.

Time and time again, I have been thinking if another author could continue dead fics with the permission of the original author.

I know that could be some problems with it, but I would like to know your opinion.
