Well, Haruhi at least is acting the part; Kyon would be drawing a
reasonable conclusion based on evidence.

This pretty much deserves an entirely separate story to sort all this out. Heh.

Um, overall....

I really liked the Sasaki/Kyon shipping, which is probably good for me
since it seemed to occupy so much screen time -- bit surprising to see
it lead nowhere.  Not sure what the point of Sasaki's efforts were,
since Kyon seemed pretty happy to not pick anyone as things stood, and
without the explanation you mentioned to Mr. Clark, (actually, even
then) seems a bit hypocritical of Sasaki to keep Kyon uninvolved for
... reasons that never really become clear.

The running gag of Kyon's little sister growing increasingly
disappointed in him seemed to get dropped at some point -- I think you
missed an opportunity in there for her to point out that he's a
failure with women by driving her 'big sister' to lesbianism, too.

Hmm.  This is kind of a blanket statement, but I think the story was a
little short for what you were aiming for; a few scenes here and there
could use a bit more detail and explanation.  Specifically, I think
what prompts Kyon to determine that Sasaki can solve the problem (as a
recent example).  Geez, that's kind of vague on my part....

Well, I actually found the Kyouko/Kyon/Koizumi scene (team
Aliteration!) to be _hilarious_, but that's another area where the
espers are a bit confusing.  Since it seems they were trying to one-up
each other constantly, that kind of made sense; there may not be a
whole lot to do there.

One thing I didn't understand at all, though....  How the heck would
this have helped Fujiwara get Mikuru back in his own timeline?  Seems
he's throwing her under the bus, and there was no clear setup where
Haruhi's powers would go to Sasaki (thus enabling ... whatever
Fujiwara's plan was supposed to be (dang impenetrable novel 11
conversation!)).

Or were Haruhi's powers supposed to go through to Sasaki through their
forming romance?

If so, then there's some potential amusement for Koizumi to try and
explain that to Kyon ... and it would be hilarious if that translated
to increasing reluctance on Koizumi's part to kiss Kyouko, while the
opposite were true for her.  Meh.  Just some idle thoughts.

It was interesting, if it confused me in the way the value dissonance
between us always does.  Thanks for sharing; hope some part of this is
useful to you.
