Ehehe... that was a bad paraphrase of a line from The Princess Bride.
(and as poorly as I remembered it, I should probably go rewatch that
soon.) No worries :)

Downtime makes me happy; Sylia + DD + fusionbomb does not, so much,
and the downtime does not make up for the rest of it.

But I *am* glad to see Kari feeling less stressed out, even if I'm
waiting for the other shoe to drop somewhere.

Good... good.... :D

True dat. (And just to be clear, I am arguing with Kari here, not the
author; sometimes I am not clear on that point.)

It had been my understanding from previously in the chapter that Kari
was trying to avoid the KS (with the possible exception of Nene
(though she's presumably avoiding Pink Saber)).
But now she wants to open negotiations with them?

Such negotiations just have enough red flags in my head that I
expected her to think about it some BEFORE bringing up that part of
the plan. But that's me, not her. I totally understand that some
people are more impulsive/risky planners than I am ;)

And so I'm eagerly waiting to see how the planning turns out and how
the meet goes, after. You DID end dramatically after all, and there
are several directions the conversation could go from there.

Also to clarify: I am VERY glad that she's bringing up the KS at all,
after deciding against threatening Sylvie and Anri with them.
Considering that Priss is Blue Saber (though I don't expect Kari to
leak that to Sylvie) it does seem in Sylvie's best interest to at
least be aware of their existence.

If she figures it out on her own she can always claim to have learned
about them on the internet or something, right?
