My understanding is that during the Byrne run, she hulk could resume her human form at will, but preferred her Hulk one.

That’s more narrative than Doreen. But Peter did introduce Professor Ray by his full name and Ray introduced Miles as his brother.

She’s not as well known as other Captain America characters and even then, she’s more known by her codename. That’s all I’m gonna say.

Not surprising, they were a Peter David creation, if memory serves, and Peter David, God love him, can be over the top. Way, way way over the top.
