> "A Muggle?" Dumbledore asked. There was a tone in his voice that suggested that the life and career of Minerva McGonagall >hung on her response.

Nah, just her career.
Dumbledore wouldn't kill her, though fire her is a definite possibility if she didn't answer correctly.

> "No, American." McGonagall shuddered. "For Merlin's sake, Albus, at least keep him in Britain."

So, she's bigoted, just not against Muggles/Muggleborn.

> "He will always be British, Minerva. However, Mark Twain noted that staying in one corner of the world causes one to stagnate and brews hate. I have very rarely found him to be wrong."

He might comment about Twain/Clemens 'also' being an American.

> Tony distantly registered the sound of shoes, but it wasn't until a mess of brown hair and bright green eyes appeared in his field of vision that he'd realized that he wasn't alone in the garage anymore.

Harry's hair is supposed to be black isn't it?
Unless you're using the movie version who has blue eyes.

> "No." Harry looked down at the engine of the Hot Rod and then at the monitor screens. "You're not going to get any more compression out of that."

Guess he's got a talent for mechanics.
My younger brother was similar (though didn't have the exposure Harry's probably had.)

> "Have you considered putting him in a free running class?" Tony asked.

Be interesting to see how it effects things at Hogwarts.

> "Mister Potter has retrieved a box of cereal from the kitchen and is presently on the couch watching Naruto." Jarvis replied. Harry, among other things, had developed a habit of popping up where he wasn't supposed to and hearing things. Fortunately, he could not hide from Jarvis, who had turned out to be a fairly effective babysitter.

Wonder if it's part of his accidental magic.
Could have some interesting repercussions in Hogwarts.

> "Naruto, huh? Man, that's a hilarious show." Tony pointed at Pepper. "Believe it!" Pepper gave him a death glare. "He watches it a lot?" Pepper's glare became cranked up to somewhere around fifteen. "Never mention it in your presence again?" She nodded. "You are very scary when you're in Mom mode, you know that."

Might give them some ideas on what kind of spells to look up.

I like it.

Maybe, post Avengers, Thor or some of his friends from Asgard could help Harry with magic.
Unless you want them to use different kinds of magic.

If they integrate Dr Strange into the movieverse, then maybe have 'him' show up at the
Underage Magic Trial from book 5.

Very interesting.
