Since you are asking for genuine C&C, here is the only real piece I can offer: please stop writing outlines and start writing stories.

You do write outlines with a lot of potential.  The story this outline describes sounds action-packed and exciting, and Kasumi falling to darkness is always very interesting when done with thought and attention. But you didn't write that story, you wrote its plot outline, and that is what's frustrating about your writing.  You're a tease in the worst possible way: "This is what I *could* give you - but I won't." You probably shouldn't be surprised people react badly to that.

I don't expect you to change your style after this many years, and neither does anyone else, which is why people were hostile. "Oh great, here's another tease." I'm sorry, your reputation precedes you; I'm sorrier that you're living down to it.
