I just had to go with the 80's shtick.  I mean, it is so absolutely
prevolent when rewatching the series it felt like a sin not to comment on
it.  Besides after going back to actually look at some vintage 80's (and
BGC era) work out cloths it is just aweful.

So yes, I have placed things just before the start of the first OVA.  Linna
was obviously a friend of Irene Chang or at least knew her from the
arobic's class in the second episode so I have no problem sticking her into
the story in the same position now.  All I really am doing is nudging
things a bit to get Nene to go.  I'm sure that given their relationship
Linna would have offered or if not, Sylia would have compelled her to offer
just as a way to get Nene into better shape.

That is all behind the scenes of course but no matter what the reason for
the invitation I don't see any reason not to abuse it for creative
license.
