significant length is total justification for abandoning the most logical, 
sensible, and accessible narrative style for writing prose in favor of a 
style that ballchokes the writer and forces him to write the entire work 
from the viewpoint of a single character, thus completely eliminating the 
possibility of scenes in which said character is not present.
