going to have to re-read the entire story as well. Thanks a lot. ;) ):

Seriously, though, I can't believe it's been about 10 years since I first 
read this.

Cologne: I know a way, because I'm an evil old bitch!

(They BANISH Akane to the Kami Plane, where TIME flows DIFFERENTLY.)

Ranma: I will rescue Akane no matter what!

(He TRIES.)

Akane: I'm back. Where are you, Ranma?

Ranma: I'm dead.

(He IS.)
