To be fair, the political discussion came from a criticism of the fic based on the prevalance of said agenda - its relation to the quality of the fic is still relevent IMO. I personally only peeked at the first part of the prologue due to the [Crossover] tag (I honestly didn't see that the title of the others were the same because I stopped reading the subject line at [Pokewomen]) and only read the other parts while trying to find the scene where Nabiki got what was due to her - which still hasn't happened.
 
With that said, I found it nigh intolerable to read because of the over-the-top mentalities within the prevalent characters (the misogynists primarily), and mostly skimmed large chunks after the second part of the prologue looking for specific names. The viewpoints expressed were so far out there that they seemed clearly to be parody...up until Shade posted what I have to take as his actual political viewpoint, which seemed to imply that he truly feels that the majority of the people - specifically in one political party - really think that way.
 
I may be hopelessly naive (in his viewpoint), but his mention of how changing the party involved would somehow make the story less believable smacked of writing with a specific agenda in mind beyond just parody - in my mind, neither major party can claim to be clean and if it were up to me all politicians would be subject to term limits to prevent the partisanship and actually work on real issues. That's as far as I'm going to talk about my personal politics, but that viewpoint is relevant in finding distaste with a fic due to a rather rabid point of view being expressed within - a more moderate parody would get the point across equally well, wherein some of the characters are capable of rational thought and not simply poster children for "evil victimizer", "stupid lunk", or "evil victims who turn genocidal" characatures.
