I believe you are using Howardian mythology, but you might find the  
anthropology book "Before the Dawn" by Nicholas Wade an interesting  
source.  He includes maps of land that was exposed by lower sea  
levels at the height of the last ice age that are now underwater.   
The Bering strait was the Bering plain, for example, and the  
Phillipine and Indonesian archipelegos were mountain peaks in a  
continent.
