[FFML] [ANNOUNCEMENT] The end of the FFML

I found the FFML in college, being old enough that the college was my
first real introduction to the internet. At this point I can't remember
how I found it... usenet maybe? It introduced me to the world of fanfic
and the world of anime, and both are still a part of my life today. It
showed me that fiction was something regular people could write for fun,
not just the province of bookstore shelves.
The FFML is shutting down, but it's legacy remains. Just yesterday I
read a story by John Biles, he who co-authored Children of an Elder God
(remember that?). It's a Hamefura/Harry Potter cross and incredibly
well done, so what the heck, I'll shill it here.

Anyway, thanks for everything and thanks for maintaining it all these
years and to everyone who was a part of the community.
