[FFML] Well, Technical Issues Are Still a Thing

Apparently every message from the FFML since Gary's ideas file apparently bounced; I just had to re-enable my membership.
I'm not sure why this happened. The timing is annoying (since I've been archiving all of the end-of-list traffic in a dedicated mail folder and since said end-of-list traffic *exists*), but it did and I missed several mails as a result.
That said, I might as well throw in a bit of a comment RE the FF.net/AO3 thing (which I managed to pick up on due to taking a look at the archives): FF.net is not actually abandoned (the Twitter is reasonably active, and comments there show *some* awareness of what's going on), but it might as well be in some ways.
The sheer number of issues that the staff has shown zero awareness of is rather amazing.
From a design perspective, I wouldn't call AO3 a "better" site. I'd say it's better run and more reliable, however, and the people who run it actually put effort into letting people know what's going on.
