Thank you! The research is half the fun for me -- finding useful
things that I can incorporate into the story is a delight and makes
the story that much more fun to write. There's also a certain
amount of challenge there -- for instance, I spent a long time
trying to zero in on exactly where the Tsukino home is lcoated; I
don't like having to settle for a five-or-six-block radius around
Amishiro Park and I'm still trying to get a more accurate fix on
it. I also really enjoy trying to make real-world sense of things
that have been made up out of wholecloth.

Again, thanks. I spent a lot of time before and during the writing
of the first chapter thinking on how I was going to handle Luna.
I'd seen all those fics with the psychotically-paranoid Lunas that
you mentioned in the portion of your comment I snipped, and I'll
admit that some of my earliest notes followed their lead. But that
never sat right with me. Part of the problem, as I noted in the
concordance, is the implied retcon of the nature of the mooncats
(plus I've heard it argued that Sailor Moon started as a *parody*
and only later got steered into playing magical girls straight,
which would also go a long way toward explaining things like
Luna's bitchy, immature behavior in episode 4). There's just so
much about Luna that's inconsistent because of her earliest
portrayals, and I set myself the task of finding a consistent
explanation that still left her a character the reader wanted to
care about.
I'm going to take your comments as meaning I succeeded reasonably
well. <grin>

I'll give you a little hint. The title of Chapter 3 is "We're
Getting the Band Back Together!"

Thanks, and enjoy.
