Indeed this is a good thing, but you know what would be even better? If 
the list were active with what it was created for, commentary on posted 
fanfics. According to the list archives 
(http://www.chez-vrolet.net/pipermail/ffml/) it's been well over four 
months since anybody's responded to a fanfic at all, and even longer 
than that since there's been any serious detailed commentary.
