Chapter One



Taylor came to in an alley. She felt a... little bit odd now. All the 
memories that weren't hers rushing around in her head. A lifetime she had 
lived, but yet didn't live. The life of a reploid named Iris Thorne.

'Oh bloody 'ell.' she thought. 'That really happened. The whole glowing Q 
thing. I died and went to the bloody Afterlife, met Q, got an offer to come 
back to life, had to let others fill out a bloody CYOA for me, and now I am 
here in the body of Iris Thorne. This is real. All of this is real.'

She quickly checked herself. 'Yep.' she thought. 'Definitely not my original 
body.'

She spotted a mirror and quickly walked to it. A quick glance at the mirror 
showed a young looking woman with light brown hair, dark blue eyes, and a 
really weird outfit. Her hair was very long, much so.

'That's a lot of hair.' Taylor thought to herself. 'A whole lot of it. Good 
thing I have Iris's memories on how to take care of it.'

Looking at herself Taylor would guess that her height was five feet and one 
inch and her weight was ninety-five pounds. 'That's what it looks like to 
me.' Taylor thought. 'Of course these are nothing but guesses. No way to 
tell for sure until I find a scale with one those height measuring things on 
it.'

Suddenly a bunch of teenage boys walked into the alley.

Taylor looked at them and thought 'Oh bloody soddin 'ell. Just what I didn't 
need. Cockneys.'

The gang members stopped and looked at her. They were staring. And gawking 
too.

"Look at this lads." one of them said. Then looking to her said "It's not 
Halloween mate. It's not Halloween."

Another one said "You got any money for us mate? You got any money on you? 
You gonna give us some?"

She looked at them and said "And if I don't what will you do?"

The first spoke again and said "Gonna smash your face in mate."

She looked at them and said "Alright. Come on then. Let's get it over with."

They rushed forward prepared to do violence on her.

Taylor assumed one of the martial arts stances she remembered from Iris's 
life, and got ready.

The first thug to reach her attempted to strike her but she sent a quick 
flurry of jabs into his face and then into his throat causing him to go down 
gasping for air. Fortunately for the thug Taylor had used a non-lethal move. 
He would live.

Two of them rushed her at the same time and at the last moment she jumped 
over them and landed behind. Then gave a couple of quick jabs to the backs 
of their necks. The thugs fell down and went unconscious.

The next one threw a punch at her and she grabbed his arm and then 
repositioned herself with her back to him and threw him in front of her. He 
sailed forward for a few feet. And landed close to another of them.

The thug he landed next to facepalmed and then said "Come on then!"

She was more than happy to oblige. She rushed forward and knocked him 
unconscious, then the one behind him, and the one behind him. The alley was 
littered with unconscious thugs.

"ARRRGGG!" shouted one of the two remaining thugs as he picked up a heavy 
bar and charged.

She just stood her ground and waited. Then at the last second she leapt out 
of the way. The thug went face first right into the dumpster that was behind 
her.

Once he fell unconscious the last thug pulled a dagger and charged her.

Her eyes narrowed. This lowlife dared to pull a weapon on -her-. She ducked 
under the blade, grabbed his wrist and forced his arm up, then kicked him in 
the dick.

His eyes went wide, he gasped, and finally he squeaked out "Mummy..."

She released him and he fell to the ground unconscious. Taylor looked around 
and nodded at all the unconscious thugs. Then she started to loot the 
bodies.
