AN : This was made using Worm CYOA version 3 now. Here's some info.

a 1 or a 2 in place of the three to get the other versions as well if you 
want. Hope that this helps you out some.

AN2 : The 'Online Worm CYOA Complete Form' does not exist, I know; I 
checked.

AN3 : I've decided Annette Hebert will live in this one though not without

Prologue



It was just an ordinary, boring, Sunday night in the house as I sat in front 
of my comp playing a very heavily modded Skyrim, I -love- the custom 
character mod and the TARDIS mod and the modern weapons mod too.

Then I decided to take a break from being the dovahkiin and started browsing 
through the web instead. I went to Google and typed in 'Worm Series', just 
to see what I would get. My attention was caught by a link that said 'Online 
Worm CYOA Complete Form' and I wondered what it was.

Clicking the link brought me to a site that had the third version of the 
Worm CYOA and little boxes you fill out to make your choices. I was curious 
about this so I thought I would give it a try. I didn't have anything better 
to do at the moment.

I looked at the first part, the 'Difficulty', and I blinked. It had the same 
difficulties as the CYOA I was familiar with, but it also had two more. I 
wondered where those two came from.

The new ones were 'Difficulty' 'God Mode Nerfed' and 'Difficulty' 'Standard 
Nerfed' and they had the following explanations.

'God Mode Nerfed': With 'God Mode Nerfed' you get 10 points to start with, 
and up to 10 more from 'Disadvantages' if you're so inclined. However your 
'Powers' will be limited. They will have different levels. You will have to 
train and spend some time using your powers to have them grow. You will 
start at level one. This mode is only available on the online CYOA. This is 
not available in the normal CYOA.

'Standard Nerfed': Nothing to see here. You get 5 points to start and can 
take an additional 10 in 'Disadvantages'. At this level you loose access to 
the 'World Breaker' 'Powers', but you can still buy 'Lesser' and 'Greater' 
'Powers'. However your 'Powers' will be limited. They will have different 
levels. You will have to train and spend some time using your powers to have 
them grow. You will start at level one. This mode is only available on the 
online CYOA. This is not available in the normal CYOA.

Well that sounded somewhat interesting to me.

Hmmm... So, limited 'Powers'. Yeah. Maybe. Perhaps, that choice.

For my 'Difficulty' I chose 'God Mode Nerfed'. A little box popped up saying 
'10 points remaining', then another little box popped up saying 'your powers 
will be limited'. For 'Powers Greater' I chose 'Crossover' for four points 
and I typed in 'Tony Stark'. This was going to be fun now. I looked forward 
to the challenge of winning this game with limited 'Powers'.

The little box popped up again saying '6 points remaining'. For my 
'World-Breaking Powers' I chose 'Inspired Inventor' for eight points. The 
little box popped up again with 'owe 2 points'.

For 'Advantages' I chose 'Cauldron Vials' for one point, 'Charles Atlas 
Superpowers' for one point, 'Comic Book Pretty' for one point, 'Companion' 
for one point and I typed in 'reformed Sunset Shimmer age nineteen', 'Man of 
Mystery' for one point, and 'Resources' for two points. The little box 
popped up again saying 'owe 9 points'. I blinked, I hadn't realized I'd used 
up that many so far.

For 'A Brighter World?' I chose 'For Want of a Nail' for one point and I 
typed in 'shards do not cause conflict', and I would have liked to have 
chosen 'Crossover' but I didn't have enough points for that. The little box 
popped up again saying 'owe 10 points'. Well, it was a good thing I could 
get that many from 'Disadvantages'.

And there I chose 'Enemy' gaining three points. I blinked as a button 
appeared then saying 'press to generate random enemy'. I clicked the button 
and it filled in the enemy field with 'Evil Clone Of Alexandria With 
Increased Powers'. Wait a moment, Alexandria never had an evil clone. I 
guess it was really a random generated enemy. Shrugging then I chose 'Geas' 
gaining one point and I typed in 'a fear of snakes that is powerful', 
'Wanted' gaining three points and I typed in 'ABB/E88/Merchants', and 
'Without a Map' gaining 1 point and I typed in 'in a three-way fight between 
the E88/ABB/Merchants'. The little box popped up again saying 'owe 2 
points'.

Since I still owed points, two points to be exact, I chose 'Disastrous' 
gaining two points and I typed in 'a Fourth Endbringer'. The little box 
popped up again saying 'owe 0 points'. Well, looks I was done filling this 
thing out.

I stretched and yawned, wondering what to do next. Maybe I should watch 'Die 
Hard' or 'Rainbow Rocks'. One had some real cool action and Neat Stunts, the 
other had Sunset Shimmer. Yeah, no contest Here Pal. I reached for my 
'Rainbow Rocks' dvd.

Another box popped up saying 'press'. I blinked, shrugged, and clicked it. 
Another box popped up saying 'your choices have been made. universal 
insertion will now commence. bye bye now, have fun!'

There is a sudden disorientation, and I am gone.

I came to in an alley. There sounded to be fighting outside. I looked down 
and saw a set of Iron Man armor.

'Oh God.' I thought. 'That website was more than just some game. It actually 
transported me here, to Worm. This is Worm. And considering the 'Without a 
Map' 'Disadvantage' and the 'Wanted' 'Disadvantage' I chose... That must the 
Empire Eighty-Eight throwing down with the Azn Bad Boys and the Merchants. 
And I'm going to have them all trying to kill me off when they can.'

Needless to say I was panicking a bit. Now how was I going to handle this? 
Did I have any chance of getting out this alive?

The sounds of the fight were coming closer. I looked down at the suit and 
saw a note. I picked it up and read it.

"Hello." it said. "I hope you are enjoying your little trip into another 
universe. As you have no doubt figured out the CYOA on the web you filled 
out earlier was a trap placed there by a ROB, namely me. All your choices 
have been activated. Well, except you getting Tony's memories and the 
'Wanted' 'Disadvantage'. Stepping out and fighting the gangs will fulfill 
'Wanted'. You will get Tony's memories later when you get to your base. Yes, 
you have a base. You did choose the 'Resources' 'Advantages' afterall. As 
for why you will get his memories later. Getting his memories will send you 
into a coma-like state for a few hours. Wouldn't do for you to do that now 
and get killed by the gangs.

Your companion will be at the base, and let me say did you ever choose a 
hottie! Whew! That girl's hot! Since you chose 'Comic Book Pretty' you have 
been reduced to nineteen and given a perfect body. Whether or not it stays 
in good condition later is up to you.

As for the suit, it is a prototype Iron Man suit with an unstable power 
core. Once you put it on and activate it you have twenty-five minutes until 
it explodes. If you are still wearing it it will kill you. If you ditch it 
near civilians it will kill them. Since you are near the Docks I suggest 
beating the gangs and chunking it in the ocean, dude.

As for your 'World Breaking Power' of 'Inspired Inventor' since you chose 
'Difficulty' 'God Mode Nerfed' then, it has twelve levels. You will have to 
train and spend some time using your power to have it grow. You are 
currently at level one. Good luck with this one now, dude. I am pleased to 
see someone make this choice.

The choices you made for 'A Brighter World?' and 'Things Get Worse' have had 
repercussions. Since you chose 'shards do not cause conflict' Sophia has 
mellowed out considerably and will not be stuffing Taylor into that locker. 
Which means no Skitter. Which means no Skitter fighting Scion. Which means 
you will have to step up and stop Scion. Also because you chose 'a Fourth 
Endbringer' an Endbringer attack with the Fourth happened a few years ago 
and this prevented Annette Hebert from dying in a car wreck. She did get 
injured in the aftermath though. But these were minor and have healed. The 
result of this is Taylor still has her mother. And so Taylor is even less 
likely to trigger. ... Way to break it hero.

I blink-blinked at that and then my eyes widened. I hurriedly looked around, 
spotted a trashcan, and lifting the lid put the note in it and then put the 
lid back.

I then got away from the trash can and took cover behind the suit. The trash 
can... exploded. 'Huh?' I thought. 'Where did that ROB get the idea for an 
exploding message? From watching Inspector Gadget?'

The sound of the explosion seemed to have attracted the attention of the 
gangs. They were coming this way. I hurriedly put the suit on and then 
activated it.

A countdown appeared on my HUD indicating I had twenty-five minutes 
remaining. Hopefully I could beat the gangs in under twenty minutes and 
chunk the suit in the ocean before it exploded then.
