While this is an interesting discussion, it's starting to veer a bit off
topic from the list's intent.  Not that I'm complaining about advice,
but....  Well, you know.

I suggest that further examples be in the form of fanfics...? ;)

Perhaps instead of debating which style is superior, or which methodology
is the best, try writing some samples to demonstrate the point?

It is nice to see more traffic on the list, though.
