[FFML] MLP-FIM story link

All right.

A recently orphaned young girl overhears a discussion between the good 
ladies of town and a social worker, indicating that she is to be sent away 
to live, leaving behind her best friend, a young, but very large Percheron 
Stallion named Jake.

Full grown Percheron stallions run over eighteen hands and 2600 pounds. 
That's six foot at the shoulder.  Jake is young, not fully fleshed out and 
weighs only a mere Ton.

Curry Comb, a nickname, decides to run away into the mountains. Right into 
the teeth of an early November Blizzard.

Clearly they don't freeze to death.

They arrive in Equestria via the Moon Path.

This is a very slow building story. The mane six are featured, and I have 
lots of Princess interaction between Celestia and her sister.

Bon Bon and Lyra are in it as well, but have not had a lot of screen time 
yet.

I'm also creating three OC, but trying to flesh them out slowly before 
mixing them fully into the story.


Sneek Peak, a sleazy tabloid reporter who has found himself contaminated 
with, yuck, niceness, from spending too much time in Ponyville.

Goose Down. A very young Nocturne Pegasus mare who wanted to sign up for the 
Royal guards, and somehow ended up in the Maid Division.

And Sweets, a oversized Pegasus Royal guard who gets a very special 
assignment from Princess Celestia.



Nine chapters are posted. Ten will be posted this weekend. I have fourteen 
completed so far, and am working on the Fifteenth. My goal was to have a 
once a week posting for the whole summer.

Another author, Georg, has given me permission to make use of his Nocturne 
Pegasus universe, so a few of his characters make an appearance as well.
He is also a pre-reader and keeps me more or less honest.

There are links to his stories for anyone who wants to check them out. Very 
fun reads.

Nocturne Pegasus are dark grey, have yellow cat slitted eyes and dragon 
wings.


There is no huge plot device, the main purpose of this story for me was to 
introduce a young girl to this world. Most of the story is going to center 
around character interaction of one sort or another.

There will be a little bit of Shipping, zero Clop.

Hopefully a fair number of "Awwwww" moments.

I'm trying to either avoid the more common tropes, or stand them on their 
head.

Of course, as is common with anything I do, I'm making it up as I go along.
