[FFML] A thought on the future of the FFML

Must we have this argument? I find it pointless. Nightgazer Starlight (to give them their currently preferred title) has a style which is all their own, and which they refuse to alter or improve in the smallest detail. And if I for one feel they are entirely welcome to it, as I find it extremely unenjoyable, I am sure that they would be the first to say that I don't have to read what I know I won't enjoy. Nobody is going to change their minds or be enlightened; we are only displaying viciousness.
Regarding the FFML, I have to admit I don't post here anymore either; half the reason is because I don't write that much anymore (I have a Real Life(TM) and a Real Job(TM), which are demanding) and the other half is because I found the quality of C&C dropped off towards the end of my posting term. Whether I had actually improved that much (doubtful) or everyone else had moved on, I don't know, but my first contributions (circa 2002) garnered a lot of good critique in the areas of things like logical development of events, plot consistency, characterisation, theme, mood, etc, that I did my best to take on board; while my later postings (circa 2007 - has it been that long?) earned only statements that I had misspelled certain words. This was especially infuriating because, as an Australian, I use British rather than American spelling conventions, and the 'misspellings' were actually correct, for British spelling (calibre, colour, etc).
I suppose I could post some things here; but would you guys be interested in reading a meta meditation on Naruto, or AUs of Magic Kaito?

I believe in dragons, unicorns, good men
and other mythical creatures.

My only excuse is that I was young and stupid then.

Some of the first, some of the second.

Gee don't you just feel the love.

Been there for years, though not under that name.

Why would I? None of you are worth the time, effort, or consequences it
would take to kill you. I have better things to do with my life than pursue
pointless revenge.
