Whatever else the limitations of an email list, it at least has online 
archives, which can be wonderfully useful.


Here's me attempting to give a certain writer detailed feedback, which 
he ignored.

Here's where after Nick Leifker attempted to do the same thing, said 
writer brushed him off with an excuse about his (the writer's, not 
Leifker's) having failed English class:

Here's a later example of a couple more people trying to give said 
writer feedback, which he ignored, and the general consensus in the 
replies that followed was that this is what he always did:

When the only thing you let yourself hear are insults, it shouldn't 
surprise you that the only thing you hear are insults.
