Jurai,
Amusing, but a couple of things, since I'm a teacher in the Japanese public school system (and currently sitting at my desk):
1). We don't have air conditioning in our classrooms. Central air is unheard of outside of large department stores and the like. The teachers' room does have air conditioners but the students have to make do with open windows, or if they are lucky, mounted fans.
2). I'm not a science teacher, but this seems advanced to me.
3). We don't have Summer School, at least not as Americans might understand the term. The first term runs from April to the end of July. August is summer vacation. September to December for the second term and January to March for the third. There might be studying camps of sorts or cram school sessions, but you can't repeat an entire class (in fact, that concept doesn't really make sense here, I can't fail my students. If they do poorly, they do not go to college, but we can't hold them back or prevent graduation).
I cringe every time I read my pre-Japan fanfiction. It's the small stuff we always get wrong.
