Yes, there was a tracker, too bad she didn't realize to look for it.  As
for Mason, how else do you think he perfected the system to download
himself into the Largo superboomer?  He would want to test the process to
ensure it worked, but wouldn't exactly want the results of that testing, or
people who know about it to be wandering around freely.  As for the last
part with the sudden loss of understanding, I hope that the dichotomy
between mind and body is coming through to readers.  That moment
specifically is one in which the two are not aligned properly and body
failing but an importaint bit of set up for later.  Obviously you are
correct in that she's gonig to be reactivated/taken out of hibernation at
some point in the future but I just had the idea of starting a story where
our hero fails.  Where we follow the standard formula but everything
doesn't work out in the end.  Or as I stated to this list, in the middle.

I would be happy if you could privately let me know where this other new
BGC story is as I agree completely that not enough new ones are being
written any longer.
