Actually, I rather liked this fic.  It's sad, yes, but still a good read.
I didn't actually catch that Haruhi decided to break up when Kyon was going
to propose until the second time I read it, but that has more to do with my
ability to miss details when I first read something than in any descriptive
failing on your part.

I haven't gone through the story in my editing mindset, but nothing really
jumped out at me as being blatantly wrong in a technical sense.  The
perspective changes (between first and third-limited) were odd at first,
but they help differentiate the past and current sections nicely.

Again, I liked the story.  I don't think that the content is bad either;
not every story has to be nice to its characters, after all.  And it's nice
to see that Kyon hasn't given up hope, even if it's not really the
healthiest kind of hope out there.
