As far as I know, of the assorted non-Koiwai cast, only Fuuka actually knows 
Jumbo is a florist. At least, she's the only one I remember ever going to 
Flower Jumbo.

Indeed.

It's a reference to manga chapter 4, "Yotsuba & TV". When Jumbo first sees 
Fuuka, he declares, "A bishoujo!" Then after he meets Asagi, he calls her a 
bijou, and explains to Yotsuba that it's like a bishoujo. So Yotsuba says, 
"Oh, like Fuuka!" and Jumbo replies that Fuuka is just a shoujo. Prompting 
Fuuka to retort, "'Bi' tte nani suru no?" (Where'd my 'bi' go?)

In other words, Asagi got downgraded just like Fuuka. :)

Well after all, of all the adult women introduced so far in the series, 
Miura's mom is hands down the ABSOLUTE HOTTEST. So Jumbo's betting it all on 
Miura being a carbon copy.

And yes, how Miura accepted it is another story. One I am probably not going 
to write.
