I'm one of those people, and when you sent me an email a few years ago
saying exactly that, I stopped reading your fics. Now, as someone who
stopped reading your fics because you don't care about readability and you
responded highly rudely to a sincere and polite email, on one hand I'm
cheering your decision, but on the other hand I think, "He might as well
keep doing whatever the heck he wants, because he cares jack-squat about
readers and has already alienated the readers who care about this anyway."
