Seems so. I'm not as disturbed by that as I could be, which is kind of

Yeah. Even having them in the same house is a bit of a stretch.

It also helps cut down on the screaming fight, the accusations of  
theft, and the "its on my side, its mine" feuding. Especially when the  
Ainos ruthlessly enforce some rules and don't play favorites. And as I  
said it MOSTLY worked.

The family still does not speak of the Halloween three years ago. Ever.

In this AU, Usagi would die before being . . . er . . . out-neat- 
eated(?) by Rei. If only to prove she's better.

Part Imperial. Yes, there's a distinction.

Possibly.

Suffice it to say, His Royal and Imperial Majesty the King-Emperor was  
not known for tolerance, paitence, and people skills. Considering the  
mess he inherited, that's completely understandable. That, and the  
Outer Planets had always been a bit . . . independant minded.  
Admittedly, that independance is the only thing that preserved some  
historical records during the Crisis, but they made the mistake of  
trying to use it as political capital when Serenity's grandfather was  
putting things back together. Add that to the fact that they allied  
themselves with the Keepers and that reaction makes more sense.

Kidnapping Amelia Earhart didn't help, though.

It's also why Serenity wound up inheriting the throne, rather then  
either of her older sisters.
