First, my apologies if this is out of order, however, I feel compelled to 
post this, after recent comments on this chapter exposed a level of 
personal incompetence for which I feel disgusted, and that all but beggars 
the imagination!

After going through the particular reader's C&C, and _trying_ to do some 
checking, I have only one starting comment. What a ***HELL*** of a mess!!!

To explain very briefly for anybody who cares: unlike the other included 
Anime, Ranma was always a problem for this story...  It's been twelve 
years since I've seen the Manga, I read none of it more than once, I have 
no copies, and I've seen the anime many times in those intervening years. 
As I have just discovered, revising from what has proven to be not simply 
corrupted, but appallingly obliterated memory was a study in monumental 
carelessness, not to mention almost unimaginable stupidity.  I've never 
been more appalled at something I've done; the thing is a continuity/canon 
joke of truly pathetic proportions: there is no kinder way to put it!  I 
can see no way out of this; the chapter is ruined beyond all hope of 
redemption! :( Either it needs to be done again from scratch (and after 
this, I'm not particularly well-disposed towards the story), or it has 
specifically to be defined as a purely _Anime_ alternative in which a 
wedding took place.  That would be an *enormous* undertaking, involving an 
entire story needing to be created to explain how things reached that 
point; *far* beyond being remotely worth the effort IMO.

Unfortunately, I think it's time to consign this to an ignominious end, 
and leave it at that.  Unless A) I can again get hold of the Ranma Manga 
-- that's possible, but a sight problem on my part makes prolonged reading 
extremely taxing, bordering on impossible; B) I can Find a complete 
translation, which would allow me to reacquaint myself with it in a form 
easier to read (i.e., on a screen) - not likely - believe me, I've just 
checked; or C) somebody can see a way this mess can be redeemed. 
Personally, I cannot!  In effect, I feel I've wasted a great deal of 
valuable time on something that has turned out to be a complete dog's 
breakfast! :( The *only* thing that is making me hesitate simply to dump 
the whole damn project is that Ranma is the only included Anime for which 
I don't have all the DVDs, references and source material I could want. 
But the first chapter makes the story, and that kind of staggering 
incompetence (even if unintended) defines everything else in the readers' 
mind.

In conclusion, I feel bound to apologise for wasting the time of anybody 
who read this wreck of a chapter; certainly, I feel I've wasted mine.
