What is light, without darkness to contrast it against?  A good point.

One thing I've been wondering for quite a while is how they're going  
to cope with Akane suddenly being several years older than Ranma, and  
probably a lot more emotionally mature as well.  It seems as though it  
might make things difficult for them.  I'd half-way expected Ranma to  
take a roughly matching period to escape Hell, to even things up, but  
I guess not!  Well, presumably this is one thing the epilogue may  
address...
