[FFML] Question about how to keep the text as is after submitted

It took me about 10 seconds of looking at the screen in confusion before I figured out this joke. (Say Bla three times out loud with a fake Transylvanian accent and you'll get it too if you haven't already)

Anyway, correct me if I'm wrong, but did not someone on the FFML once create and distribute a little application that could fix all this poor soul's problems? 

 I seem to remember said program being one that you could run a questionable .txt file through and it would output a file that would be formatted in plain text ascii and would also be formatted such that the text was made into a uniform screen width?
