That's because whenever a woman starts talking, even within a fictional 
context, you zone out and start thinking about waffles. Akane clearly 
rages against the psychotic and evil setting, not the male gender, 
notice how everyone says "this place" or "these people" and she angrily 
separates the things Ranma does to piss her off from the evil wrought by 
poke-world.

To read "The pokegirl fantasy is monstrous because it's misogynist, 
oppressive, dehumanizing, and sociopathic" and interpret that as "I hate 
men, all men are rapist oppressors and whenever they feel love it is 
enslavement" means you really, really weren't paying attention, or that 
you think the pokegirl paradigm represents a normal, healthy 
relationship. Which is just an astonishing failure of empathy, but not 
really unexpected.
