I will reitterate what I wrote:

So, I tend to roll my eyes whenever I see yet another pokegirl fic that
includes yet another anime or another set of anime girls in a harem when
the whole thing is ripe for branching out in more imaginative ways
rather than trying to rewrite "Wild Horses and Pokegirls," which started
this whole mess, and should have had its innate flaws abandoned at first
opportunity when it became something far more. 

Now, if you're respectfully disagreeing with this viewpoint, I'm more
than fine with that.  If that's all the potential or even USE that you
see for these stories...okay.  I fundamentally disagree.  As such, we'll
never agree on this, and I'm okay with that.  I simply find that the
idea could have been more than what I already noted it to be and you
deemed necessary to remind me of since you must not have figured I
already knew what I had already typed.

I hope that last sentence made sense despite its convoluted nature.

Since this is a forum for feedback, and I don't know this author
personally to provide it in the fashion that I typically do, I posted
the response here.

My point was, it didn't have to include those sources at all.  The idea
of a man (argueably a madman) creating an army of animorphic girls to
first annhilate the lion's share of humanity, then breed with those
strong enough or lucky enough to survive such horror to create a race
of...well...gods is a fantasic (not fantastic as in good, fantastic as
in outlandish or expansive...just so we're clear on the meaning of
words) premise all on its own.  Many questions (some bad, some good,
some that don't even have those qualifications) come to mind concerning
such a world.

Agreed.  Very much agreed.

I hope he doesn't.  It wasn't a premise that was supposed to be right or
moral.  It was supposed to be rather messed up.  Sukebe fucked the world
a right good one, and people had to live in it.  Questions such as what
form that world would take, and how the people would survive such a
situation (and make no mistake, survival tends to trump damn near
everything)...that's what makes the story.

Yeah, up there with the Code Pink, Greenpeace, liberal college
professors, and the like who say the same thing just for a different
reason.  Fanatics are on all sides of the fence...funny they tend to all
say the same thing just in new and exiting (and strangely enough, often
contradictory) ways.

Yeah, up there with ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, The Washington Post, The New
York Times, and the LA Times.  And all of them are bitching about that
dork Rush Limbaugh on AM Radio with a, heh, fairness doctrine.

I didn't find it entertaining.  I found it, like I said, to be neo
progressive far leftwing politics piece that turned everyone in the
armed forces into a raving rapist lunatics of zero intelligence and even
less moral gravitas (I hope I used that word 'gravitas' correctly).
Then there was the worst charictures shown of the neo cons which,
hillariously enough, can be applied to the adherents of the Marxist and
socialist philosophies (both of which the leftwing models itself after)
in exactly the same way, and be just as accurate was what we saw written
here.

It's why I don't read Piers Anthony anymore.  He tends to slap his
audience with his politcal view points every three sentences.  I want to
reach back and slap him, telling him to get on with the story...I
finally just put his stuff down and refuse to read more.  I may have to
do that here; I don't know.  I figured I'd weigh in, since this was the
place to do so...note that I found the view point so permeating in the
fic that it was barely readable because of it.

Good to hear not everyone is not so enmeshed in spreading white male
guilt around to the point that we all just want to shoot ourselves.

I'm okay with that.  As long as that's all the message is, heh.
