Well, the EU is an extremely culturally diverse place, so please don't pull everyone over one row. Also, my experiences with the British people have been almost uniformly positive when I've visited the UK, so one half-baked law definitely shouldn't be enough grounds to uniformly condemn the country as a tourist spot.
