[FFML] [fanfic][repost] NGE: EndGame, 02

Manga has a very bad habit of this, so I try not to make to much of a point
of it. It's just one of my pet peeves. Unfortunately, in english there is no
simple character to represent a pause. -blah blah blah." He paused. "blah
blah- is really as close as you can get. Some people add periods or commas
in the midst of sentences in otherwise unnecessary positions, and in small
doses that works, but similarly, its something you want to avoid. And it's
an old habit in manga.

That didn't make sense to me. by hyphenating you're joining two independent
things. In this case there is already a thing that means god and dammed put
together. if a pause was intended, the two should be left alone. The space
conveys a break in narration

That's good too. Pick whichever one works for you.
