Prologue



Neko's House March 31, 2007



   Neko was sitting at her computer having just finished reading some of her 
favorite fic, 'On A Clear Day You Can See Forever', when she hit the print 
button. Nothing happened. She quickly started looking around.

   "Oh damn it!" she groused. "The fricking printer's come unplugged! I 
fricking hate it when that happens!"

   Neko reached down and plugged the printer up, then twitched as the 
damaged cord sent quite a few hundred volts through her. Neko fell out of 
her chair then. She was quite dead before she hit the floor.

Unknown time and place



   "Uhhh..." Neko said. "My head hurts."

   She opened her eyes and wondered where she was now.

   "Where the hell am I?" she asked.

   "Oh, it's not Hell." slurred a voice. "And you should be grateful for 
that. If it was up to me you would be roasting there, and begging for 
oblivion!"

   Neko got up, and spun around to face the voice.

   She just stared at what she saw.

   It looked like Botan from YYH. But she was holding a bottle of liquor.

   "Are you... are you... you... Botan?" asked Neko.

   "Don't pretend you don't know who I am! " snarled/slurred Botan, with 
hatred in her voice. "How dare you pretend not to know me! I will make you 
suffer!"

   Botan glared at Neko. "YOU LITTLE BITCH!" she screamed, as she hit Neko 
upside the head with her oar.

   "OWWW!" Neko screamed, as she fell to the ground clutching her head in 
pain.

   Botan hit Neko again. And again.

   "Serves you right sister dear." said Botan while hiccuping, her voice 
vicious and cruel, filled with malice and hatred right now.

   'Sister?!' thought Neko through the intense pain.

   Then Botan quickly kicked her in the ribs once. Then did that yet again.

   Neko grabbed Botan's ankle as she was about to kick her again, and 
pulled.

   Botan crashed down to the ground.

   Neko grabbed Botan's oar, and proceeded to lay the holy smackdown on 
Botan.

   "What" *smack* "is" *wham* "your" *hit* "problem" *pummle* "you" *smacko* 
"damn" *whamo* "nutty" *slam* "drunk" *bash* "bitch!?" growled Neko.

   Botan sent out a blast of power, and knocked Neko back. She grabbed her 
oar, and advanced on Neko again. There was murder in her eyes now.

   "Ohhh..." Neko moaned as she very painfully got up and glared at Botan.

   "I'm gonna..." Neko said and proceeded to curse Botan's looks, habits, 
and ancestry.

   Botan got more, and more, and more red-faced as Neko kept on. Finally she 
blew her lid.

   "YOU LITTLE BITCH...!" she screamed. "YOU BETRAYED US ALL SISTER, AND NOW 
I'M GONNA SEND YOU TO HELL!"

   "You and what army you flat-chested, thick-thighed, goat-eared, 
flea-ridden, tomboy?" taunted Neko getting fed up with this stupid bitch's 
attitude.

   "ARRGGGHH!" screamed Botan. "I'M GONNA DO WORSE THAN THAT! YOU SEE THAT 
MY DEAR SISTER!?" she screamed, while pointing to a window that showed a 
little 5 year old blonde girl with a silly hairstyle. "SHE IS ABOUT TO BE 
HIT BY A CAR! SHE WILL SPEND 2 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL IN HORRIBLE AGONY BEFORE 
SHE DIES! I AM GOING TO PUT YOU IN HER RIGHT BEFORE THE CAR HITS HER! YOU 
ARE GONNA GO THROUGH EVERYTHING SHE WENT THROUGH! THEN I'LL USE A SPELL AND 
DESTROY YOUR SOUL UTTERLY!"

   Neko paled... allot. 'Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to taunt her.' she 
thought. "Can we talk about this now, please?" she asked.

   "NO!" shouted Botan. "I'M GONNA MAKE YOU SUFFER! YOU'LL BEG ME FOR 
OBLIVION!"

   'Oh crap!' thought Neko. Then Botan fired a beam of energy at her, and 
she knew no more.

Azuba Jubann Area
Minato Ward
Tokyo, Japan



   Neko came to and heard a noise. Looking right up she saw a car coming 
toward her. She quickly dove to the side, and just missed being run over.

   'It missed me?!' Neko thought. 'But Botan said... Does this... mean I can 
change things?'

   All of a sudden, a door on the car slammed open, and a man came stumbling 
out. He looked drunk. And also very afraid too.

  "RUN!" he shouted. "IT'S GONNA BLOW! MOVE!"

   He then ran right over Neko, not even noticing she was there.

   'Damn!' thought Neko as she was plowed under the man's feet. 'That REALLY 
HURTSSS! Oh, my head.'

   She got up, and noticed a bit of fire burning... following along towards 
the car's gas tank.

   The fire ignited the fuel in the car, and caused it to explode.

   She felt a stinging sensation and realized she had just been hit with 
many glass slivers. She felt a worse pain and clutched her hand to the left 
side of her face, where it felt like somebody had just run a hot knife 
across it. She looked down and saw a hot metal fragment resting on the 
ground, scorching the grass there. She felt like she was about ready to pass 
out from the pain now.

   She heard the car twisted by the explosion.

   She heard another explosion, and the car exploded two more times, then in 
a huge fireball.

   She looked up and saw a wall of flame headed toward her.

   'Oh shit! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! Ahhhhh! Helllp!' With that 
thought, she crossed her arms over her face to protect her eyes, then the 
blackness took her and she knew no more.

Azuba Juuban Hospital June 30'th, 1992



   Ikkuko Tsukino was pacing back and forth in front of her daughter's bed. 
Her face filled with worry and guilt. How could she have let her daughter 
wander off without her?

*Flashback*

   Ikkuko had taken her daughter to the park today to celebrate her 5'th
birthday. But Usagi had wondered off and, safe place or not, she was worried 
about her. Still what could happen in the park. Unfortunately, when she 
heard the explosion, that thought was quickly wiped from her mind.


   She went running toward the sound looking for her daughter. There she 
was, on the ground, nearby a burning twisted car. She quickly ran to her 
daughter, fearing for her life.


   She had been relieved when she realized her daughter was still alive, but 
fearful when she looked at her. Her daughter looked like she had been 
knocked back quite a bit by the explosion, and she had many little tiny 
slivers of what looked like broken glass embedded in her skin with blood all 
over her face. Her hair was gone, and her skin was blistered.

   She quickly called an ambulance on her cell phone to come and take her 
daughter to the hospital.

*End_Flashback*

   The doctors had managed to get all the glass out. Fortunately it had 
missed her eyes but unfortunately the doctor said there would be tiny thin 
white scars on her face and most of her body.
   The doctors said that from the top of her left eye to the bottom of her 
jaw it would leave a scar.
   They had also said that her hair would grow back soon.


   But the worst part of all, they said she was badly burned, but her 
clothing had protected most of her, and she had shielded her face with her 
arms. But her arms, legs, and hands were a mass of blisters, and would be 
badly scared because of the fire and fragments of metal.

   She heard a moan and saw her daughter stirring. She quickly ran to her 
side, grabbing her gauze covered hand very gently. Her daughter's entire 
left side of her face was wrapped in gauze... as was her arms, hands, and 
legs.

   "Usagi, my darling little one. Can you hear me dear?" she asked with much
worry painted all over her face.

   Usagi opened her eye and looked at her. She felt the left side of her 
face and encountered the bandages. She seemed confused about it and also 
slightly afraid. Then she looked at herself, around her room, and at her. 
She noticed her hands, arms, and legs were in gauze wrapping. This worried 
her and she felt pain in her whole body right now. She got a puzzled 
expression. After a minute she finally spoke.

   "Where am I? Who're you? And who am I?"

   Neko woke up with her head hurting... quite allot. 'OW!' she thought. 'I 
hope this doesn't become a recurring theme for me.'

   She got up, looked around, and wondered where she was.

   She was in white void... that looked

Azuba Juuban Hospital



   Usagi was lying down in the hospital bed. Usagi then moaned and she woke 
up.

   She opened her eyes and looked at the older lady puzzled. At least she
tried to open her eyes but couldn't see out of one of them. She felt around
the left side of her face and encountered what seemed to be bandages and
was confused about why they were there, and slightly afraid that something
had happened to her eye. Was it blind now? Then she looked down at herself,
around the unfamiliar room, and then at the older lady again.

   She noticed what seemed to be heavy gauze bandages on her hands, arms, 
and legs. This caused worry and she wondered why she felt so much pain now. 
After a minute, she finally spoke.

   "Where am I? Who're you? And who am I?" she asked, her eye troubled as 
she struggled to remember. All she came up with was a blank.
