This was in fact the gist of Weber's request; he specifically and 
explicitly wished not to SEE it, because then he might get ideas from 
it for his own stories - and at least one author has been sued by a 
fan over the appearance of that happening.

I sincerely doubt, however, that he has any plans for detailing the 
afterlife of characters he's killed off.....
