are you guys going to answer my question or bicker about spelling,
i did put my list into line format so if it dosent show up that way its your browsers fault. i came humbly looking for answers and instead i get a few people argueing over grammar and spelling, i replied with a more solid version of my request and if that isnt enough then ignore it.

On this one, he gets a pass - my own email reader (Google's web
interface) does indeed show each item in his list beginning on a
separate line.

Not everyone's on GMail, though. A lot of us don't have "smart" clients
that autoformat everything, and I'm of the school of thought that you
should try to format to the lowest common denominator. (Which, come to
think of it, includes using plaintext as opposed to HTML, but that's me
being old and grumpy.)

I don't think the email client has anything to do with it. The
original post contained two lists, the second with each item on a
separate line and the first not. So most likely they are simply
talking about two different things.
