Xander's New Adventures

    Xander was just relaxing with his PS2. He was a great time playing 'Wild 
Arms Alter Code F', when something really strange happened. His PS2 started 
to glow, shake, and then spoke to him.

    "Xander. I am the God of Console RPG Games. I am speaking to you through 
your PS2." said the speaking PS2.

    Xander stared at it and said "Alright, now this is weird, even for the 
Hellmouth."

    "I have come to you to make you an offer." said the God of Console RPG 
Games, otherwise known as the PS2 system. "Xander, every console rpg game 
you have played, and all you haven't, are real. They happen in different 
universes."

    "THEY'RE REAL!?" exclaimed/questioned Xander.

    "Yes, they are." said the PS2. "Xander, have you ever watched Sliders?"

    "Yeah. Well up until they got rid of Conner, and merged Quinn with that 
other guy. After that I lost interest in that show and haven't seen any 
episodes since then." said Xander.

    "Good, then you know that for every Earth there are many 
parallel/alternate versions of it. The same is true for the game worlds. For 
every one of them, there are many parallel/alternate versions of them. There 
are many worlds out there where the hero didn't win. That leaves those 
worlds with little chance. They will soon be destroyed by evil." said the 
PS2.

    "Well, can't you do anything about it?" asked Xander.

    "Due to the ancient laws, I cannot directly interfere. Or my 
counterpart, the Demon of Console RPG Games, could do the same. He would rip 
that world apart completely. However, I can appoint an avatar to go there 
and take those heroes place now. I want you to be that avatar Xander, and go 
there and save those worlds." said the PS2.

    "HUH?! ME?! What can I do to help them?" asked Xander.

    "You underestimate yourself Xander. Are you not the one who faced Angel 
when Buffy went to fight the Master, and forced him to lead you down there? 
Are you not the one who gave Buffy CPR, and then revived her? Are you not 
the one who stood down Angelus, when he tried to get into Buffy's hospital 
room? Are you not the one who rammed a demon with your uncle Roary's car 
when you saved Faith? Are you not the one who stood down zombie Jack O'Tool 
and forced him to disarm the bomb?" asked Xander's possessed PS2.

    Xander was stunned his PS2, correction this console rpg god, knew so 
much about him. He stammered and hemmed and hawed. "Well yeah, but anybody 
would have done those things." said Xander.

    "You lack self-confidence." said the PS2. "But don't worry, you will 
gain that where you are going. Will you help to save those worlds?"
