On the subject of Pluto protesting the change...

Twenty-one year old Usagi Chiba, less than a year married, uncertain as to
when she would bear her first child was taken aback by the unexpected
sightof one Setsuna Meiou dancing in the streets.

"Ah.. Setsu--"

"FINALLY!  I FINALLY pulled it off!

Usagi blinked.  "Pulled what o--"

Setsuna grabbed her now and future queen's arm and started jogging.  "Can't
talk here!  Not around everyone!  We're having a drink  I'm buying!"

(Okay, Usagi.  BEST option is to harbor your insane Senshi.  Next best is to
find out why she's gone daffy.  Just follow...)

Setsuna knocked back a double Glenlivet, while Usagi-- not being much of a
drinker herself-- nursed a Chablis.

"I tell you, it's such a LOAD off my mind, one more danger off the list--"

"Setsuna-chan, far be it from ME to notice that you are suddenly given to
drinking, but-- what ARE you talking about?"

The Senshi of Time grinned madly.  "Pluto is NO LONGER CONSIDERED A PLANET."

"I... see.  And that  means..."

"Well, thre's was ONE major threat to Crystal Tokyo and saving the Human
Race that had popped up in all failed timelines- thanks to some astronomer
decviding that Pluto WAS a planet.  the Gates aren't really there-- but
their link to reality IS-- a sort of relay."

"And?"

"And until they decided Pluto was not a planet, more than half of all
possible futures included a landing-- and crushing the linking mechanism.
Seriously reducing Cryatal Tokyo's probabilities.  Because people want to go
to other planets-- not insignificant rocks!  This is the best thing that has
ever happened to me--"

"You DID read that it's not definite yet?"

Setsuna blinked.  "I...It ISN'T?"

"Well, I did see that on TV-- but there's argument about if Pluto is not a
planet-- or if it is and Ceres and maybe Xena are also."

As Setsuna started to bang her head agasinst the bar counter, Usagi sighed.
Girl had tanken one too many lessons from that martial artist after all.
