Okay, first off, I'd suggest either you do as Henry Cobb suggested and transform this into a news report or rewrite it in past tense.

Also, shorten the length of the sentences and make those paragraphs smaller for easier reading.  

Is this a one-shot or is there going to be a next chapter?
