expected that answer. :)

Of course, you could always one-up the actual series
producers by using that vast potential for chaos.
Chaos is fun... as a concept... in literary form. ;)

Well, I think HE is supposed to be the smartest man of
the Marvel Earth (possibly except for Thanos, but he's
only Earth-related by extension), with Reed, Forge and
Doom slighly below hims and Black Panther, Nightshade,
Centurious, Maelstrom, Magneto, Henry Pym, possibly
Tony Stark & Moira McTaggart etc yet a bit further
down.

Good call. I never like it when the characters of a
story start to 'talk' to the readers. It just feels
like the author has a bout of schizophrenia in public
(regardless if it's She-Hulk or Animal man). Alan
Moore managed to sort of thread the line with Supreme,
but that's the only successful instance I can
remember.

Hire.  In any case the motivation fits, since he's a
bloodthirsty animal in the literal term. All the most
barbaric tendencies of the animal kingdom given
genius-level sentience and grander designs.  He's a
great, but sadly forotten, villain.

Yeah but that part has always been kept intact and I
prefer the concept about us mostly building
civilisation ourselves, if less quickly than the
Eternals & Deviants. I'd like to see more of 'Demon
Druid' (the current name) btw. He had a great design
when I first saw him in Excalibur.

Nah, I meant the Kasumi who dipped her head into the
soup bowl during a meal just because she was told it
was great for her skin... While funny, that's much
harsher than my own impressions of the character.

Agreed with the Evangelion reference. It sounds like
yet another healthy FMA recommendation then. I really
have to get around to watching the series.

technically be a deranged Mousse going on about
Shampoo, but that would be stretching it and he's not
nearly technically adept enough.

Well, the thing is that you usually have two choices
with time-travel for 3-dimensional creatures. Either
you're working within the pattern (/self-fulfilling
loop somehow inserted through random
higher-dimensional interference in the Starbrand
manner), i.e. your time-travelling actions in the past
have already been factored in to the current reality,
or you're not affecting your own past at all. That is,
unless a 4D+ entity takes pity on your plight and
creates an extra variable to work with. Of course
that's not to say that what he thinks will prove to be
correct of course. ;)

I think Master Man was a '50'-tonner (comparison scale
only. In practice roughly equivalient to tossing
around ocean-liners), so he could slug it out with
Namor on roughly equal terms on land but was
outclassed in water.

That's true. It was the inferior replacement aspect
which seemed like a waste. 

Heck Bloodstone was supposed to have vast regenerative
abilities, so he might have recovered by now. ;)

Yeah, but the SA is powerful enough to beat virtually
anyone, so it's a much safer bet instead of getting a
surprise visit shortly after the goons are taken care
of.

Ok, but building nuclear weapons isn't that impressive
by Marvel standards, so weak exoskeleton level seems
about right. The Wrecking Crew would have been much
more successful if under his leadership though.

Exactly. Most people would get obsessed with getting
more life-extension once they found out it existed. Of
course, he may find out that it actually didn't exist
except as tap-water. :D

Yeah, but Sandman didn't make much use as a hero and
he used to be a serial-killer on FBI's most wanted
list, so he's not the type I'd see switching sides in
the first place. All this reforming of every villain
out there (no matter how unlikely) is thinning the
arsenal.

identities to wreak havoc in their name, assassinate
the families of enemies in the guise of their loved
ones, commit acts of terrorism for kicks, inflitrate
organisations under the pretense of friendship while
being prepared to kill any assumed friends who
discovered her, tried to wipe out humanity and has
eventually betrayed virtually any cause or
organisation she's ever been involved in. I like her
charisma, attitude and style! She should be president
and have a harem of both-sexed celebrities at her beck
and call. Let's reform her!'

...Right. That makes sense. It's the sort of thing
which makes me lose faith in humanity and actually
mirrors my problem with Nabiki.

In any case Ed Brubaker has managed to salvage

Sharon into turning likeable without being wimpy
again.

Along with She-Hulk it's probably the best superhero
book out there. Check it out. :)

Carter and Diamondback were the only decent ones.
Bernie Rosenthal bored the heck out of me, that lawyer
love interest was bland enough I don't remember her
name. There were a number of others that made me doze
off and were bad enough I don't remember them.
