Roll up the cloth they're attached to, to round it out.  (And I've seen
them called "forehead protectors" more often than "badges", though I've
read more fanfic than watched the actual series, so this might be just
fanon.)

They really are "forehead protectors" - the mangaka originally designed
Naruto as wearing the goggles he has on in chapter one, because he thought
they looked cool, then he discovered that it would be a lot more trouble
than he'd thought to draw them in any detail, over and over, so he invented
the concept of the forehead protector to take the same place (since Naruto
would look silly with his forehead bare). It's explained in the end notes to
one of the early manga volumes (at least in the Japanese version).

It's roasting here in Oregon. I need a shower. A COLD shower....

California's got the same heat wave.  This might've been a product of
heat-induced delerium.

I think it's roasting everywhere at the moment - I'm not sure whether I'm
steaming in my own juices, or melting - and it's been going on for two weeks
now. I want one of those freezer tubs they have in convenience stores - with
a mattress on the bottom, they'd be a cool (pun intended) place to sleep...
