This is true, and there _was_ one other incident that Anko specifically
would remember: Sakura's outburst in the flower shop. I hadn't
considered the possiblity of Anko bringing that up here, but now i may
have to revise their conversation because if Anko _did_ bring it up, it
opens up a whole new can of worms for Sakura's theories and assumptions
about why she's behaving 'oddly'...
Hmm. Well, a partial fix might be to alter Sakura's line to something a
bit less absolute than "I _never_ had 'impulse control issues' before.
(Perhaps just "I don't usually have 'impulse control issues'"?)
It's also easy enough to imagine Anko being sufficiently distracted by
all the stuff that happened afterward that the particulars of the flower
shop incident slip her mind, at least for the time being.
Even if she does bring it up (a more opportune moment might actually be
once they are at the hospital rather than just now), I can see Sakura
rationalizing that away. "That's different! I must have been freaking
out over having that filthy Ino-pig in my brain again!" or something.
Well, i like it when things make sense, and there are a few points in
this chapter that don't _quite_ make sense, it seems, so i'll be sending
up a revised version in the future for people to pick at ^_^;...
I shall be happy to pick at it when the time comes!
Incidentally, did you receive my C&C on the last chapter, or did that
get eaten somewhere along the line?
