Any relation to the Alchemy Companion in Rolemaster?

No The Compleat Series(Alchemist, Spell-User, Adevnturer) went on to be
remade into the Atlanteen Trilogy RPG. The Atlateen Trilogy(Arcanum,
Lexicon and Bestiary) was remade into another system called
Talislanta(At this point the company was Bard Games. Talislanta later
moved through several compnaies) and then from that came the Omni system
that both the Talislanta and Atlanits worlds now use

Darksword Advenutres was mentioned, but sadly it is also Out of Print.
One of two roleplaying games that you can pick up for under $10. In
this case, it was just a paperback novel, so $5.95.

D6 Fanatasy and Fantasy Hero would not be useful for writing this
story.(I can already here the Hero fanboys objections)

Speaking of which, I just got the Rolemaster stuff.
I'll also have to look into those other systems. Talislanta, TORG,
and Castle Falkenstein you said?

I almost forgot.

There is a book by Stephen Michael Sechi for Dungeons & Dragons and
some other systems(generic): The Compleat Alchemist. I don't know if
what was in it made it to the Atlantis RPG 3rd edition(current
one). I do know it was in the first two editions(a modified version
made it into Talislanta). There was a list of ingridients and what
they went best for(such as Griffen feather for flight). They make
the D20 Alchemist books look like jokes). The firstof Atlantis was
in three books The Acanum, The Besitary, The Lexicon. @nd edition
was in two books: The Arcanum, The Lost World
