Quite amusing. Very much in the tradition of The Order of the Stick, though  
without the metagame humor, obviously. Welleby reminded me quite a bit of Elan 
 the Bard, though a bit more useful, despite how... errrr.. eccentric 
Throngar  found him to be. Shame that Dragon Magazine doesn't take unsolicited 
stories  anymore - I think this one would have a damn good shot at getting 
published. At  any rate, I wouldn't be adverse to see a few more stories concerning 
Throngor,  Artemis, and Welleby. If they survive the orc bandits, that is. 
 
One quick question - does this take place before _Prince of Lies_ and the  
destruction of Zhentil Keep?
