There are two comic series from Archie Comics that are iffy and  those 

two really depend on who holds the rights to those characters.   Teenage 
Mutant Ninja Turtles and Sonic the Hedgehog<<
 
TMNT has been printed under the Image label if I'm not mistaken (before or  
after Archie, I'm not sure), and in a decidedly more violent version than Kevin 
 Eastman and Peter Laird had written them before. Besides, I would imagine 
they  and Sega would be kinda pissed if someone imagined Archie owned their 
stuff.  Just because they loan it out doesn't mean they don't have power over 
their  works (okay, so maybe Sega's a gray area :D).
