Kabuto is a HELL of a lot more dangerous than he looks. And, quite

frankly,

I'm not entirely sure Orochimaru is the one we should be afraid 
of...

Also, Tsunade is under some pretty bad handicaps in that fight, what
with the whole being out of practice and having the crippling fear of
blood.

"Hey, cut me some slack! I haven't ninjaed in a while!"

"Ano...Erosennin...WHY are we makin' this bachan Hokage?"

"Because otherwise they'll make _me_ become the Hokage."

"You?! But even I can beat you!"

"That time doesn't count, boy."

 And even with that, if she'd pulled out the moves she uses a
little later against Orochimaru, there doesn't seem to me any 
evidence
that Kabuto would have stood a chance.

I still say Kabuto is potentially more dangerous than the Sannin and
Akatsuki COMBINED. I don't know for sure what it is, but something 
about him
sets off my Freaky Shit Meter.

Hmmm... i don't know about all that, but Kabuto _is_ intriguing. His 
loyalties are very, very questionable, and he hides quite a bit from 
Orochimaru, if he can manage it...

Was it mentioned somewhere that Lee is an orphan?

Yup.

You sure that isn't just fanon?  I don't remember hearing anything 
one
way or another about Lee's family in canon, and Leafninja's character
bio (which is usually pretty accurate/complete) doesn't mention it.

I'm almost positive it's mentioned in the anime that he has no known 
family.

I tend to go by the manga more than the anime, and i don't remember it 
being mentioned in the manga that he was an orphan. Hmm...
