Well, there goes a City Hunter sequal to the Archie/Punisher crossover.
(which rocked in it's own perverse way.)

Comes under the crossover exception.

Uh...no. Because the problem is *legal*, which means it doesn't come under
ANY exception.

Correct. Archie Comics will send a cease and desist order for any
fanwork regarding their characters. Just like DC(and Marvel?) drops the
hammer down on any fanwork that shows explicit sexual content or over
the top nudity.

There are two comic series from Archie Comics that are iffy and those
two really depend on who holds the rights to those characters. Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles and Sonic the Hedgehog

The !mpact line of comics that DC published a while back is another that
falls under the iffy category. DC liscenced the rights to those
characters from Archie and the rights may have reverted, so it is
probably best to leave those comics alone as well(Shield, Web, Jaguar,
Fly, Black Hood, Fox, Comet, Bob Phantom)

Disney is another that dislikes explicit sexual content in the fanworks.

Disney, DC, and Marvel: If it is worse than Mad Magazine, don't do it.
