Subject: [FFML] Searchable archives

Branching off from the various discussions of the FFML's current woes
and what items need improvement, I have a technical question or two, in
interest of doing an initial estimate on a scope of work: does anyone
know just big the (uncompressed) FFML archives are, in total? And if
those archives include the old FFML, current FFML, and any/all of the
"refuge" lists that were set up during the Interregnum?
As for creating a search *engine*, well, that's a heck of a chore to
ask someone else to do, and I know *my* coding skills aren't up to it.
But I understand there *are* prepackaged search engines out there, some
even designed for handling ML archives. I could try doing a bit of
research....
