Hi, Glazius! Long time no hear! ^_^

Apologies for whatever the webmail client tacks onto this, but I wanted to 
say it right away.

Fair enough. If I didn't have work, I would have all over this stuff, 
myself. As it is, I'm only now starting to catch up on yesterday's stuff. :p

I've, uh, kinda deliberately expanded myself beyond Ranma, mostly because 
other fanfiction made >me want to read other source material, though 
perhaps in that respect I am just a weird little >man.

There is always room for writers *and* readers to grow and change. Besides 
which, Ranma fics on this list are hardly the unstoppable juggernaut they 
used to be. Lots of the people posting these days are *not* writing Ranma, 
and we seem to be doing just fine. If nothing else, the steady decrease of 
Ranma fics has just lessened the signal to noise ratio for the rest of us.

I'll be going back at least  two months and actually posting on-list 
criticism for everything non->Ranma that I've been able to track down and 
understand well enough to crit.

Ah, well, I can definitely understand. There are other people who need the 
encouragement more than me, I suppose. It's a real shame, though - I always 
did enjoy getting comments from ya, GF. On the other hand, I'm sure there 
are a lot of people who would love to get them even more. Go where you feel 
needed, buddy. ;)

The real problem is that I'm now hooked on tracking down an ever-expanding 
library of original >sources.

Sure, in some cases it's just as spotty as most fic could ever hope to be, 
but I am now a terribly, >terribly desparate fan of Naoki Urasawa. He's 
done some great Astro Boy fanfic, y'see...

Now, *there's* something we could use some more of. Remind to write one some 
time. Once I make time for that Speed Racer fic. And Gatchaman, and 
Kikaider, and Cutey Honey.... ^_^

Glad to know you're still out and about, GF! I'm looking forward to reading 
some of your comments on people's stories.
